Accessing pandemic relief

New State Resources for COVID Relief

In a special legislative session, Colorado lawmakers passed 10 bills providing $300 million for COVID-19 relief. The bills cover several interest areas that may affect you. This website lists the aid resources currently available, and gives information on how to apply. Some processes are still developing (see notes below). For instance, small business aid is being administered locally. If you run into any problems finding help or applying, feel free to contact my office and we will try to assist you.

Please note:

  • Colorado Creative Industries’ division has applications for artist, entertainment centers, and cultural organizations. Information can be found here.
  • Minority Business aide is on hold due to a lawsuit. In the meantime, you can sign up for email updates; go here and click the tab labeled “Connect with Us.”
  • On direct aid for small businesses, companies must apply through their eligible local government (usually your county). Local governments may still be working on their individual application processes.
  • Spanish translation is listed on the website, but the translation may lag behind the English translation slightly when new updates come through.

I will have an official telephone number and email address after my swearing in on January 8th. Until then, continue to contact me by email at

Thinking of everyone during these difficult days. I feel hopeful about the vaccine and look forward to giving you an update on our work for the 2021 session soon.
